Faizal Navodia

Registered Physiotherapist / Clinic Owner

Faizal has a reputation for achieving great results for his clients with complex injuries and conditions. Faizal's passion lies in the field of Neuro and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy which he developed soon after completing his Masters Degree in Kinesiology and Exercise Science from Oakland University. With over 14 years of experience in the field, Faizal has a knack for simplifying things for his patients so that they understand the diagnosis and treatment helping them take better care of themselves. His hands on approach not limited to Myofascial Release Therapy helps him to utilize many skills to ensure the body is working in “sync”.

His dedication to his clients has motivated him to complete several certifications in the field of Neuroscience Physiotherapy including Neuro Development Technique (NDT) and Bobath, NeuroKinetic Therapy, Concussion Management, Vestibular Rehabilitation , PONS therapy and Acupuncture. Faizal enjoys sharing his knowledge with the next generation of therapists and has assisted in teaching certification courses along with mentoring students who are near completion of their degrees.

This passion led Faizal to open his own rehab centre in Ajax. With a great team of client-centered care, Faizal and his team are sure to help you achieve your goals in your journey to better health! The goal of the team is not to only treat the symptoms you present but to get to the root cause of your pain which helps achieve long term goals and alleviates the vicious cycle of chronic pain.

In his spare time, when Faizal is not undergoing a makeover or playing tea party with his two beautiful daughters, you will likely find Faizal running (perhaps from his wife!). This newfound passion (thanks Covid!) had Faizal recently complete a half marathon and train for his first full marathon which he hopes to complete by the end of the year.



Megha Patel

Registered Physiotherapist

Megha is a Registered Physiotherapist who graduated with Bahelors of Physiotherapy from India. Megha also earned a diploma in Fitness and Health Promotion in 2020 from Durham College. Megha has a wide array of experience having worked in variety of settings, including hospitals, post-orthopaedic surgeries, musculoskeletal injuries and outpatient clinics. She believes in helping the clients to improve their quality of life and have an positive impact on their overall health. Outside work Megha likes to spend time with my family and friends.



Jinal Patel

Registered Physiotherapist

Jinal is a Registered Physiotherapist who graduated with a bachelor of physiotherapy from India. She is an energetic and dedicated physiotherapist who always strives to get to the root cause of the problem in order to get her patients back to doing what they love! She loves to use a balance of manual therapy techniques, in combination with customized exercises to treat a wide variety of orthopaedic conditions and injuries. She strongly believes in hands-on treatment rather than any other passive approaches. Jinal emphasizes patient education in her practice and understands the importance of active participation in the rehabilitation process to restore mobility and function to prevent further injury.

Jinal believes that every patient should be treated individually, with a focus on their specific needs, in order for them to achieve full recovery. She likes to improve her skills through the process of continuous learning and training to keep herself up to date and utilize her skills to provide the best patient care possible. Jinal believes that physical activity is the key to a happy and healthy life so she tries to stay active during her free time. She enjoys, hiking, trekking, camping, travelling, trying new adventures and reading good books.



Dr. George Charalambous, B.A. (Hons), D.C.

Doctor of Chiropractic Medicine

Meet Dr. George Charalambous and be reassured that he “got your back” and will treat you like family. Dr. Charalambous received his Doctor of Chiropractic Degree at the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College (CMCC) in Toronto in 2013 and is a certified Traditional Chinese Medicine acupuncture provider. Prior to CMCC, Dr. Charalambous obtained his Bachelor of Arts Degree with Honours from York University in Kinesiology and Health Sciences.

Dr. Charalambous has vast experience with the assessment and treatment of various injuries and impairments. Including but not limited to, sports related injuries, workplace injuries, slip and fall injuries, motor vehicle accidents and post-operative rehabilitation. He has hands on experience with the common day to day injuries (ie. strains and sprains) to the severe fractures and catastrophic injuries.

Dr. Charalambous practices chiropractic care with diversified technique and approaches all treatments goals using evidence based care. Dr. Charalambous utilizes soft tissue therapy, mobilizations, adjustments, acupuncture, exercise prescription and pain controlling modalities to facilitate healing and overall recovery.

Outside of work, Dr. Charalambous appreciates the outdoors, antiquing and spending time with family and friends. He enjoys playing board games, soccer and going to the gym.



Candace Morrison

Registered Massage Therapist

Candace’s passion lies in providing treatments that support the body to heal itself. She can assist the return to pain-free movement and optimal health. She realizes the importance of relaxation to help manage the stresses of everyday life, but also wants to offer evidence based informed approach for treatments to support rehab. Her passion and curiosity approach to client care ensures she does not just chase the pain but is able to assess and create a treatment plan to meet client goals.

After Candace completed her Bachelor of Science in Biology, she continued her education in massage therapy and graduated from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy. She also received her Certification from McMaster University’s Contemporary Medical Acupuncture program. Her diverse skill set includes neurological and muscular rehabilitation and recovery, as well as a maintenance approach, depending on each individual patient’s needs. Because of her diverse background, she can also offer acupuncture, cupping and general Swedish massage techniques for soft tissue release.

Candace’s interest includes yoga, practicing as a student and facilitating teachers. She teaches anatomy for yoga teacher’s training, yin yoga certification programs. When she is not on her mat or in her treatment room, she is traveling and eating really good food, enjoying time with her grown up children.



Alan Diong

Massage Therapist

Alan is a dedicated massage therapist with a passion for helping others achieve optimal health and wellness. With over 12 years of experience in the field, Alan has honed his expertise in various massage techniques and modalities.Graduating from Sutherland-Chan School of Massage Therapy in 2011, Alan obtained a solid foundation in anatomy, physiology, and the art of therapeutic touch. He is proud to be a member in good standing with the College of Massage Therapists of Ontario (CMTO) and an active member of the Registered Massage Therapists' Association of Ontario (RMTAO).

In his practice, Alan utilizes a holistic approach to tailor treatments specifically to each client's unique needs. He is well-versed in a range of techniques, including Myofascial Release, Deep Tissue Massage, Swedish Massage, Neuromuscular Massage Techniques, Joint Mobilization, Stretching, Strengthening exercises and Cupping Therapy. By combining these modalities, Alan aims to address musculoskeletal imbalances, alleviate pain, improve range of motion, and promote overall relaxation and well-beingWith a compassionate and client-centred approach, Alan ensures a safe and comfortable environment for all his clients. He believes in the power of effective communication and actively listens to his clients' concerns and goals to provide personalized treatments that yield optimal results.



Hetvi Thakkar

Physiotherapy Assistant

Hetvi has completed her Bachelors in Physiotherapy from India and has also pursued her Diploma in Health and Fitness Promotion from Durham College. She has excellent skills in managing treatment plans executed by the physiotherapist when effectively managing and treating her patients . She also has a great record in helping patients with physical injuries, with rehabilitation and improvement.

With a keen learning outlook she keeps adopting new techniques and updating herself in order to provide the best patient care possible. At the moment she is studying to register herself as a Licensed Physiotherapist in Canada.

When not in the treatment room you will often find Hetvi greeting you at the front ensuring you are ready for your next treatment session.



Harshali Raval

Physiotherapist / Chiro Assistant

Harshali Raval holds a diploma of fitness and health promotion from Seneca College and a bachelors degree of physiotherapy from her home country. She is committed to her work in the field of Physical Therapy and is effectively able to implement several treatment programs. She has a professional experience of almost 3 years as a Neuro Rehab Physiotherapist. She has cleared two levels of Adapted Motor Development and also holds the Certificates from World Health Organization (WHO), by which she learned Respiratory Therapy for COVID 19 as well as the psychological care of patients with impacts of Covid 19 and other various programs as well. She believes in team work and tries to make a treatment plan as fun and enjoyable as possible. Harshali has high expectations from her patients rehab and you will often find that she gives you a hard time if you haven’t done your homework! When in Harshali’s care make sure you follow the home exercise program rigorously. A happy therapist is a happy patient ;)



Melissa Devers

Osteopathic Manual Practitioner

Melissa is a Registered Osteopathic Manual Practitioner who is trained in providing Osteopathic health care services that benefits the whole body. Melissa’s practice uses a holistic and preventative approach when providing patient treatment.

Melissa followed her passion for providing rehabilitation and the desire to help facilitate healing for people in chronic pain. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Science, and after gaining 4 years of experience working within the clinical rehab field, she decided to dive into the research of Osteopathy. She found a deep understanding and love for the gentle yet effective approach to osteopathic treatment.

Osteopathic treatments with Melissa can help with a range of conditions including:

Chronic Pain, Arthritis, Headaches/migraines, Postural problems, acute and chronic injuries.

Every Osteopathic treatment is customized to each patient’s needs. Using a combination of a full history and assessment, specified techniques for each individual, and exercise routines, Melissa helps her patients to relieve pain and improve function within the body.

Dr. Jo-Anne Mina

Naturopath

Dr. Mina brings many years of experience in helping to educate and support her patient's shift from a stagnant state of health to wellness. Her passion lies in optimizing digestive health and hormones through clinical nutrition, supplementation and lifestyle modifications by way of meeting individuals where they are at and applying customized treatment plans in practical ways. When Dr. Mina is not advocating for her patients' vitality, she keeps herself busy creating nutritious meals, spends a lot of her time staying physically active and loves to travel. Salima Gilani

Patient Experience Coordinator

Salima is one of the first faces you see when you enter Neurosync. Her warm and bubbly personality will always make you feel very comfortable and at home. She is interested in learning about you, your life and any aches and pains you may be experiencing to better assist you with your wellness. Outside from making sure your appointments are scheduled and the clinic is running smoothly, Salima loves to spend time with her family playing and creating boardgames, and chasing after her next adventure. In her spare time, you will find Salima in a zumba class, or at a book store. Fun fact; Salima has jumped out of a plane, and is planning to go paragliding one day soon.
